Duties

• Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
• Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute alterations accurately.
• Assist customers with fitting sessions, providing expert advice on style and fit.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and enhance overall service quality.
• Keep up-to-date with fashion trends to provide informed recommendations to clients.
• Manage time effectively to complete alterations within specified deadlines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fashion retail or tailoring, with a strong understanding of garment construction.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines and performing various sewing techniques.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Basic math skills for measuring and calculating garment dimensions accurately.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
